Full-Time 211 Program Supervisor

Community Services/Administration Building – Huntsville, AL

Mondays – Fridays 7:45 am – 4:15 pm

Major Accountabilities

  • Responsible for overall coordination of the 211 Program including hiring, training, and supervising 211 staff

  • Coordinates and maintains computerized databases

  • Provides ongoing outreach to agencies to maintain support and understanding of 211 and to gather current information for the 211 database

  • Represents CSNA at interagency meetings, presentations, and events to market 211

  • Serves as staff on-call with other staff members, including providing medical advocacy for victims of violence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, library science/computer science or related field, or equivalent preferred

  • Completion of CSNA training program

  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software required, skilled in web to database connectivity technologies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Requires; confidentiality, proof of reliable transportation, insurable through agency auto insurance as well as current auto insurance and a valid AL Driver’s License.
