About Crisis Services
of North Alabama

At Crisis Services of North Alabama, we respond to individuals and families in crisis by providing emergency shelter for domestic violence victims, crisis counseling for those in emotional distress, and vital assistance for survivors of sexual assault. Our 24/7 HELPline (256-716-1000) connects victims to services and provides crisis counseling, with trained, trauma-informed staff and volunteers offering compassionate support. We also manage the area’s 211 service, helping people connect to vital resources. We provide domestic violence and sexual assault services in Jackson, Limestone, Madison, and Morgan counties and offer sexual assault forensic exams in Cullman and Winston counties.

Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Programs

These programs offer confidential assistance to victims of intimate partner violence and sexual assault, including crisis counseling and court advocacy, emphasizing the importance of the individual's safety and well-being. HOPE Place, our emergency shelter program, offers a safe space to stay for survivors of domestic violence.
