29th Annual Turkey Trot 5K

The Crisis Services of North Alabama 29th Annual Turkey Trot 5k will take runners through the beautiful campus of the University of Alabama Huntsville. The race will take place on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 24th, starting and ending right outside Spragins Hall. The 5K run will begin at 8:00am, followed by the Tiny Tot Turkey Trot at 9:00am, with awards to follow. The Turkey Trot is a family-friendly tradition! Walkers and strollers are welcome, but please leave your pets at home. Feel free to strut your tail feathers and wear your turkey attire!

The Turkey Trot supports the programs and services of Crisis Services of North Alabama. We provide emergency shelter to victims of domestic violence through HOPE Place, a community crisis line through HELPline, and forensic medical exams and rape crisis counseling through the Sexual Assault Response program. We are the local call center for the 2-1-1 information and referral initiative. CSNA charges no fee for our services. We are supported by the United Ways of the counties we serve, through public and private grants, individual contributions, and fundraisers like the Turkey Trot.
