Part-Time Domestic Violence (DV) Responder Coordinator – Madison County
Mondays – Fridays 29 hour/week, hours vary; nights and weekends as necessary

Major Accountabilities
Coordinates Domestic Violence Responder Program.
Coordinates schedules of DV Responders.
Provides emotional support and advocacy to victims of domestic violence.
Provides referrals to services for domestic violence victims not residing in shelter.
Responds to domestic violence calls with law enforcement personnel in time of emergency, as needed.
Serves as on call in rotation with other staff.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or equivalent experience preferred
Completion of Crisis Services training program, and ACADV required trainings
Ability to work well with a variety of people and strong communication skills
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
Requires confidentiality, proof of reliable transportation, insurable through agency auto insurance as well as current auto insurance and a valid AL Driver’s License.
