Get your tiny turkeys ready to run a 100-yard dash to beat Tina—our Turkey Trot Mascot—to the finish line! No need to register for this fun event. It starts at 9 am.

For children 5 and under.

If your turkey trot is more of a gravy glide this year, fear not! You can still show your support by donating and helping us reach our 2023 goal. Your generosity makes all the difference and for that we are thankful.

Race Information

Fleet Feet has been our race partner for 20 of Turkey Trot’s 30 years! They do so much to help us with this race — from start to finish. THANK YOU, Fleet Feet, for being part of this Thanksgiving tradition! We couldn’t do it without your generosity.

  • For race-specific questions (where, when, how, what, why) please click on “Sign Up To Trot” above.

Does the Tiny Tot Turkey Trot cost anything?

Nope! No cash, no credit card, just lots of fun. (Please note: the Tiny Tot race is only for kids aged 5 and under.)

Where is the starting line for The Tiny Tot Turkey Trot? The Tiny Tots will start at the top of the Spragins Hall parking lot. The Tiny Tots will run toward the race finish line. Look for Tiny Turkey (our terrific turkey mascot).

Where will the award ceremony be held?
That’s easy! Where you finished with your PR!

I’d like to participate. Can I just walk?
Absolutely! We always have people who want to walk the 5k, so you will not be alone!

I‘m part of a group that’s running together. Where and when do we pick up our packets?
The packet pickup dates above are for both individuals and groups however the packets are under individual names and not group names. Simply pick whichever time and location is most convenient and you’ll be ready to trot on Thanksgiving!

Will you have t-shirts available in youth sizes?
We’re sorry, but we won't have any t-shirts smaller than an adult small.

Will our family—one jogging and one pushing our child in a wheelchair—all start at 8:00 am? You’ll all start at 8:00 am and we will absolutely love seeing you jog, walk, and roll your way to the finish line! However, to keep things safe for everyone, we ask that anyone not running start behind those who are.

Can I push my child in a stroller in the Tiny Tot Turkey Trot so they can participate?
While we’d love for all Tiny Tots to try and outrun Tina Turkey, strollers pushed by an adult gives the rider an unfair advantage! You may, however, push your Tiny Tot and stroller in The Trot.

Can I pick up my race packet the morning of the race?

Yes, we'll have a race morning packet pickup at Spragins Hall. Just make sure you get there early because we’ll close 10 minutes before the race with no exceptions.

    Where do I park?
We’ve linked a handy-dandy PDF of the parking map above (and here it is again) with plenty of designated parking spots. HOWEVER, if you need to leave before the festivities come to a close, we don’t recommend parking at Spragins Hall. It'll be blocked off and you’ll be stuck!

May I run with my dog?
As much as we love fur babies, we don’t allow dogs on the course. Of course, all well-behaved and leashed pups are welcome to hang out and cheer you on from the sidelines!.

May I run with a stroller? Absolutely! Strollers are more than welcome to join the race, but to keep things smooth and safe for everyone, we ask stroller-pushing participants to start at the back of the line. It's like a stroller parade!

Are bikes, hoverboards, scooters, skateboards, push bikes, unicycles or wagons allowed on course?

We’re sorry, but only runners, joggers, walkers, baby strollers/joggers, and wheelchairs are allowed.

Thank you, Turkey Trot Sponsors, for helping us continue this Thanksgiving Morning tradition!

Your Participation in the 30th Annual Turkey Trot Helps Others Find Hope

We have a lot of fun with Turkey Trot but when people experience crisis it’s no laughing matter. Your registration, sponsorship, or donation supports HELPline, our confidential 24/7 crisis hotline staffed by trained volunteers who provide counseling and offer resources to people in crisis. Our programs also help victims of domestic violence and sexual assault through crisis counseling, emotional support, and medical and court advocacy.

Crisis Services also provides a sexual assault support group once a week for adult survivors of any gender. Our program to support victims of intimate partner violence includes shelter; court advocacy; counseling for adult victims and the children who witness the violence; case management; outside agency information and referrals; educational instruction regarding health and safety issues; and support groups.
