In June, Crisis Services of North Alabama (CSNA) will launch iCare™, a unique event designed to raise awareness about domestic violence while also raising funds to support our services.
CSNA serves the Northern Alabama counties of Madison, Morgan, Limestone and Jackson with many community resources. The iCare event primarily targets the business community to help drive widespread community awareness about domestic violence – the problems we have in North Alabama, risk factors, red flags and where victims can go or call for help.
Awareness and fundraising activities occur throughout the month, with the event culminating on Friday, June 26th. On that day, employees of participating businesses will be wearing a symbolic “black eye” sticker and a lapel sticker that says “Ask Me Why I Care” throughout the day.
