Strut your Stuff-ing before the feast! The 33rd Annual Turkey Trot 5K returns to the University of Alabama in Huntsville campus on Thanksgiving morning, and it's the most festive way to earn your second helping and start off the holiday season. Costumes encouraged. Strollers welcome. Chip timing gives every runner a net time from the moment they cross the start line.

Every registration supports Crisis Services of North Alabama, so your morning miles help neighbors access emergency shelter from domestic violence, evidence collection for sexual assault, and crisis counseling. All free and all confidential, 24/7.

Thursday, November 26, 2026, 8:00 am. Start line at the south end of the Spragins Hall parking lot. Ben Graves Drive will be closed at Holmes Avenue, and access to Spragins Hall parking off Roberts Hall will be closed. Sign up for $30 through November 21, $35 starting November 23.
