Build confidence in meeting the medical forensic needs of male patients. Through hands-on scenarios with trained male Forensic Teaching Associates (FTAs), practice caring for men who have experienced sexual assault or intimate partner violence, including incarcerated male patients.
Develop skills in male genital and anal assessment, examination techniques, sexual assault evidence collection, and anoscopy. Explore sensitive communication, barriers to seeking care, and trauma-informed approaches that support each male patient’s dignity, ongoing consent, comfort, choice, and control.
